Lindsay. I am (still) her fan. I know what many people think of her right now but I would not change my opinion to be a part of the majority.
Lindsay has talent. She is a remarkable actress and she sings quite okay (not one of the best in the industry but not one of the worst either). At least she sings with more genuine emotions than Paris!
Paris was born an heiress. She never had to work for the money unlike Lindsay who started from scratch. Okay, Paris did have an album (but she sounded more like she was whispering than singing!), some perfumes and wrote an autobiographical book (did anyone buy it???). But she was never really serious about anything (especially singing) and acts like she is the most perfect person on Earth.
In terms of looks, Lindsay is more beautiful. She seems more genuine and 'real' compared to Paris. Eventhough she is mixing with the wrong companies (Paris, Nicole Richie and Britney Spears) she will always be able to bounce back from any problems as she has done before in the past.
Lindsay started from scratch and really worked hard to achieve success. She catapulted to fame through acting. Paris on the other hand became famous after... 'One Night In Paris'. That isn't a good start (or a good first impression).
