Why does the singer of creed sound like he has water in his mouth when he sings?!

Question:

Why does the singer of creed sound like he has water in his mouth when he sings?

i've always thought he sounded like that even when i was a wee 8 year old 9 years ago :P

Answers:

Because he uses the same technique as eddie veddar (sorry if i spelled his name wrong) from pearl jam. it's hard to explain how to do it over the internet without showing you but the easiest way to do it is to hold the sides of your tongue lightly agaisnt the roof of your mouth but it doesnt have to stay there alot
