Neither have the best vocals, but it is obvious that Ciara is inspired by classic Janet Jackson. With the best chorographer, the video would be one of the best in years.
I just wasn't feeling the Beyonce/Shakira collaboration. It was just soft porn and nothing spectacular.

Janet Jackson is a seasoned artist/singer.
Ciara is nothing more than a pop performer.
I like Janet Jacksons music & would hate to see a potentially good song be ruined by featuring someone like Ciara.
As for Beyonce & Shakira, they're both in the same class of performers (I stress the word PERFORMER) so I don't see their collaboration hurting or helping either way.
They both have terrible voices & limited vocal ranges & amount to little more than a piece of asss to look at while listening to their horrible music.
In regards to the porn comment, they'd be doing the music industry a service by leaving it all together & getting into porn.
