I don't like the films, I don't think they are well done. But I bought the first book of the series a couple of months ago, and read the next 5 in a row. Now I only have to wait for about 24 hours before getting the new one.
That being said, you're probably not the only one who doesn't like it. Nothing wrong with that, you know.
Although I do like Harry Potter, because I think she is a good story-teller, I don't think it is THAT great either. It's a good story about teen magic, that's all.
