THey were but no longer are. THey went to Hawaii together. Shortly after Hawaii, they went on a road trip with a couple of friends. Zac and Vanessa wentr off by themselves for a while. Zac was driving and got lost. He was screaming at Vanessa and blaming her for them getting lost. THey broke up after that. THey are still friends. They have been spotted going into coffee shops together. Vanessa said in a recent interview that she now loves him like a little brother.
