Hey, beatlemaniacs out there, i was once told that the group once had a member who was killed?

i am also a "beatles" fan, and i remember a friend once told me that there was beatle member who was beaten to death or something after a concert. is this true??? where can i read this information??? i'm just curious...

It is false. I think what they are referring to is Stuart Sutcliffe. He was a friend of John's and joined the band around the time Paul & George joined, and he played bass. At that point, they went through a number of name changes, becoming the Silver Beatles, and eventually just The Beatles. Before joining the group, John and Stu had gotten into a fight at a local pub, where Stu got a brain injury, but didn't know it. While the band were touring Germany (before Ringo joined), Stu decided to quit to live with a girl he met. Sadly, Stu died of that brain injury shortly after that.
