Did you ever say 'hello' to a celebrity and they were cold or rude in return?

My old girl friend was a big fan of Jonathan Richman. He's not a real big celebrity, but a lot of people might remember him because sang several songs and appeared in the movie "There's Something About Mary."

We saw him in concert, and I knew she wanted his autograph, but she was too shy to ask.

I asked him to sign a CD or cassette tape, and he was pretty nice. He was kind of shy himself, and he said something about how much noise the crowd of people were making and how it made him uncomfortable. But he signed it and he seemed like he was happy I asked.
