Bravo..you hit the nail right on the head the lyrics from most of these artists are ridiculous..umbrella??? Girlfriend from our beloved Avril!!! Sadly,Gone are the days of the classic songwriting genius's and masterful music composition.
The artists now rip off or sample the great songs of the past, package the artist's for MTV ready tv and use voice transformers to make them sound good, hello BRITNEY lip synching her way across America. Thank goodness the other mouseketeer is truly a bon afide musical great with a real voice and ability!..Christina has it all together and do not forget crazy Mariah.. who writes, composes her own music and has a real voice!!
So the POP world is in the toilet, for now anyway!!!!
The only genre's right now which is turning out stars that can sing and write their own lyrics and music is Country and Alternative Rock.
Thanks to Apple for creating the IPOD so great music from years past lives on and can be enjoyed without every having to listen to the mainstream junk the music industry is creating now.
