Why do we (9-16 year olds) have obsessive crushes on celebrities?
i've had some major celebrity crushes in the past. ex. (brendon urie, josh hartnett) now i really love (haha lust) chris brown. why? he's not even sexy. he's cute. i'm super happy he's single though. i'm thirteen and he's eighteen so i can't date him unless he wants to do some time. by the time i'm eighteen, he'll be 23! why oh why do we have celebrity crushes? do celebrities even date normal people?
oh, to help me get over chris, i need to picture him as taken, not single. name some celebrities you could see him with.

Girl, I FEEL you on this! Right now, I am IN LOVE with John Mayer. I'd marry him tomorrow if he asked me to. He's going to be 30 this year and Im only 19 but I want him so bad. If I ever saw him on the streets without his gaurds, I'd be on him like fleas on a dog! LOL Its just everything about him. I think it may be a fantasy thing. We just see what they want us to see- a wonderful, sexy person but we don't know what they're really like (even though I have a friend AND a cousin who work with Chris Brown and I hear he's pretty nice)
They may be some crazy annoying type of people and we don't know it because we don't see them for who they really are. We see the 'stage' version of them and thats what we fall in love with. Or is it just the fact that some dudes are just SUPER SEXY?
I dont know but just have fun with your celeb crush It'll fade someday but its just fun for the moment- at least you dont have to worry about your big mouth friends telling him and then feeling mad weird around him later right? lol Its just something girls do- perfectly normal up to age 115. I bet you somebody's grandma out there STILL has a crush on Billie D. and we don't even know who the heck he is!
Some celebs do date normal people like Shaq who ever knew who his wife was until they were on tv? They might be afraid to date outside Hollywood in fear of being used for money and fame. (ahem- K FED)
