Anyone ever meet Bono in person? Good/bad experience?!

Question:

Anyone ever meet Bono in person? Good/bad experience?

Answers:

Incerdibly GOOD experience. I was waiting outside Reunion Arena back in early 2001 for their Elevation tour along with about 60 other fans in hopes that the band would stop before entering the arena. Two Lincoln Town Cars pulled up with tinted windows and actually stopped. Bono and The Edge stepped out of the first car and shook hands. They could not sign autographs in the interest of time (they band had to make it inside for their sound check) and Bono, saving his voice for the show, didn't talk much but the band posed for some photos and Bono actually played a few chords on a guitar a fan held up in hopes the band could sign it. Although no autographs were signed and nothing much was said, ever person waiting on line felt they had a chance to rub elblows with their heroes and no one felt denied a thing. At one moment, someone from the back of the crowd shouted "Bono, you make me see God." An indescribable look washed over Bono's face as he looked up towards the fan and expressed his appreciation. It was very moving and if anything, my love and adoration for him only increased after my close encounter.
