who was the 70's band that she ripped off of? my mom is a big fan of avril lavigne and she wants to know. does anyone know?

it is a cash-driven lawsuit which has nothing to do with music; if Avril's song was a 'B' side & not on the radio, there would be no lawsuit. The almost-one-hit-wonders 'Rubinoos' clearly see this possible suit as a way to quit their jobs at k-mart by cashing in on nothing more than a similarity...
