I remember a song sung by Getty Lee but he is not singing with Rush. Does anybody know if he sang with another group?

He did a song with Bob & Doug Mackenzie|(Rick Moranis & Dave Thomas) on their comedy album "The Great White North Album" The song was "Take Off", from their comedy bit on SCTV back in the 80's
