When you consider the size of their carbon footprints collectively with their fleets of cars and plane journeys was the concert in reality just a sham to revive their ailing careers?

Yes I totally agree. Just the number of lights involved must have done so much damage. It's just like the government and electricity companies though. they all ignore the advice and don't save energy do they? My guess is that most people only went there or watched it for the music and to be honest I didn't think it was as good as the Diana concert last week. It also encouraged us to turn our TVs on for several hours.
