Ok. so I know that Kate Winslet smoked years ago and then she quit when she was pregnant and she said that she would never smoke again. I looked on nndb.com and it said that yeah she did smoke and she might of quit but it doesnt say that she started back up again. If anyone knows anything please answer. Thank you Thank you.

Well, like you at one point I knew she smoked. My father is a smoker. It is such a dangerous,unhealthy, and dare I say disgusting habit. I'm quite proud to say I've never even taken a puff (not bragging just a statement of fact).

While I cannot answer this conclusively, from all photographic evidence I've seen: No, she no longer smokes. I hope she really has laid them down. I'm not sure where you could locate a conclusive answer. The best you can do is pray for those struggling with the habit; the choice is ultimately their's.

For me, it is a major turn off. I love my father so much, but I know I will never marry a smoker. I could put up with nail biting, eating cookies in bed, cap off of the toothpaste but smoking and excessive drinking- no thank you. Know I've digressed a little from the question but that is how passionate I am about the committment to non-smoking.
