Dear "crashedismyid"

yes I would like to see more of these people in jail. They are a danger to other people and they are the ones telling the joke, "Carry me to the car, I can drive on my own!!", which I can't find funny at all.

If you want to be in the public eye and want "common" people to look up to you, for crying out loud, be a rolemodel. Because it scares me, that these are the people our kids look up too.

I don't have a problem with these persons, I just don't approve the way they behave. And something should be done about it.

I look forward to the day where the laws of the land are upheld.....for everyone. No. Probation!! shes head-en that way .. maybe lose the kids!! too boot...K-fed isn't a good parent! so the court will appoint some one to take care of them!! Yeah apparently this could be true since she decided to have a little hit 'n' run action in a parking lot. Plus they say she did not have a valid driver's license. Normal people would get up to six months in ther pokey if "convicted" of this. Plus pay a big 'ol fine which would mean absolutely nothing to someone who makes over $700,000 a month. I think Britney Spears has been charged of a crime, probably of that hit-&-run incident as one answerer put it. Who cares most of the time they pull these stunts to get more attention. When your use to being in the spot light you will do anything to stay there. Negative attention usually works better than positive just look how many people are up to date on Brit's every move waiting for her to trip again. LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Britney Spears was charged on Friday with hit and run and driving without a valid license, a spokesman with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office said.

The 25-year-old singer was charged with one count of hit and run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid California driver's license, both misdemeanors.

The charges, which each carry a maximum penalty of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, stem from an incident in a private parking lot in the San Fernando Valley on August 6.

Spears is accused of hitting a parked car and driving away.

The victim filed an accident report on August 9 at the North Hollywood Community Police Station.

The city attorney's office did not know whether Spears' car had been damaged, nor did he know the extent of damage to the other car, spokesman Frank Mateljan said. He also did not know who else, if anyone, was in the car with Spears.

Representatives for the singer were not immediately available for comment.

Spears was sent a letter on Friday, notifying her of the charges. A hearing, which Spears does not have to attend because the charges are misdemeanors, is set for October 10, Mateljan said. Britney Spears has been charged with one count of hit and run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid California license. Both charges are misdemeanors, each carrying a maximum of 6 months in jail. I don't think the Aug 6 incident can be held against her in terms of her current probation since it already happened before the sentencing.

However, she *IS* on probation now so that means zero tolerance from here on out...let's see if she can pull that off. I hope so that way her kids can be safe and eat healthy it is not a rumor.she is the next celeb behind bars. That's nice of you wanting to see more drug addicts in jail, instead of getting the help they need. Whether famous or not, drug addiction is a serious matter and addicts need treatment.

The world would be such a better place without people like you in it.
