Please i do not want to start anything i really just want to know if this statment was true. My teacher said that bob marley was a woman beater, does anyone know about this? i was really suprised to hear this but i dont want to believe it unless i know its true. Again im just asking so please dont attack this question
Answers: I have heard this before. Can't say whether I believe it or not because I really don't know. Read Rita Marley's book about here relationship with Bob and judge for yourself. YEP! who is he my math teacher is bob marley at k12 it isnt him I can not say he was, or was not, But I can say that I never heard anything like that about him. I dont know for sure but ive never heard of that. The song "No woman dont cry" doesnt make much sense then. Im sure you could look it up though. i have never heard anything like this,and i was a bob marley liker,i know he was into drugs but woman beating? not sure,try googling bob marley and you may be able to read a little on his history,family life,etc. I don't know. He may have been smoking too much ganja to beat anyone. I've been a Bob Marley fan for 30 years. He cheated

Ask your teacher for his/her source. he was arrested in 1972 for harrasment against his former gf,broke her nose.does this help? I have never heard this. I hope it is not true. years ago my family and i went to Jamaica and i do believe i heard that same story. you can probably look it up... google him??? There have been some rumors that he had abused either his wife or other women, but I don't know if anything was ever proven.
It's kind of like saying OJ is a murderer -- we all know he did it, but he was not convicted. But he was still a great football player.
But, whether he abused women or not, Bob Marley is still a music legend! Long live Reggae! I haven`t seen anything in print that confirms that. It may be just a rumour. I am a Bob Marley fan and I've never heard that before - that story is new to me. I have never heard of this, so I doubt it. I don't think he would ever have done something like that. Heard of the song, "No woman, No cry? So yeah, I would ask your teacher for her sources about this? But otherwise I don't think it's true.
