Question:
When you search up a famous person (say an actor) is the site really giving you the right details about him?
I have searched up different sites for some actors (for an assignment) and all the information is different. To me, I personally think that there are randoms (people) that do it. But don't the real people (that are famous) look at that? And who does the sites for the actors? Isnt the agent/caretaker for the actor do that?
Answers: it all really depends... yes, usually there are random people that post information about celebrities online, whether it is all true or not. there are a few rare sites that give correct information tho, OR the random ppl might have some true info along with false info.
celebrities dont really have time to dedicate their lives on websites about themselves, they dont really go too into that. but there can be official websites on the internet that state real info. check out any OFFICIAL websites. It all depends on which websites you look.If you look at more official website's such as Imdb.com and the actor's actual website then it will be fact,however some fans may create their own website for the actor and some of the information may not always be true. Usually sites that are listed as being Official are sanctioned by the actor and/or the actor's publicist/rep/etc. Those are the ones which are far more likely to have correct information. Generally the sites are theactorsname.net or .com or something like that. Most of them might be run by fans, but they at least are recognized by the actor or actress as being an official site. Same goes for music personalities, etc.
