When Child Services removes children it has be "cause" and removal requires certain criteria (like: endangering the life of the kids). This then has to be approved by a judge. All of these documents are confidential.

She didn't understand that it wasn't ok to snort cocaine in front of her children. She didn't know that drugs nd alcohol destroy lives and careers.

The judge asked her to take a drug test, get her California drivers license, and not seeing a counselor. There were other things involved, but the judge saw it fit to let K-Fed be the primary parent until further notice. If Britney gets in gear and does as asked she could get them back, but until then K-Fed gets to be the dad he should've tried being before.
