However, a man, in his 40's, not married or in a relationship, doesn't mean that he is gay. I personally know a couple of men like Mr. Clooney & for their own reasoning, they are not married. Either b'cause they just want to be single & free or they can not handle being in a relationship due to past horrific relationship experiences. And in this case, these men should BE BY THEMSELVES & not bring grief into the relationship with their partner. Source(s):

I used to think he might be, but he seems wat too open to closet his lifestyle. Being single/bachelor at the age of 46... Yes, I guess so. His relationship with women won't even last half a year or less... My thoughts exactly. He has never married, and he really doesn't have a history of being in long term relationships with women. He's dated, but that's just about it. So I always thought he was gay. Now recently, he's been seen around with his current lady friend. But that might just be for his image. I don't thinkk! ((I hope)) I don't know. Never really thought about it. I don't agree with some of your answerer's though. Just because a man doesn't marry--doesn't mean he's gay. I know some men who have never married and they are not gay. I know the rule is -if you never marry your gay or lesbian, but that isn't always true. Also just because he's a ladies man doesn't prove he's not gay. Rock Hudson , Tab Hunter and several more ladies men later confessed to being gay. So. There is no one thing that proves he is or isn't. I hope he isn't though!! Nope, he's not gay.
