Is it me or is David Letterman getting mean in his old age.?
I'm not just talking about Paris Hilton.I used to watch David all the time but his humor seems mean spirited.I watch Leno now and though he might cap on someone he doe's it with a wink. Carson was the same way and so was Paar.Maybe Cher was right.When she called him an ***hole.I really think he get's a kick out of humuliating people. What's your opinion.
Answers: Good eye you have. I have always noticed that about him. its just not recently thats why i dont' watch him.. He does that alot and trys to do it in a way that the average person he hopes wouldn't catch he's acutally putting them down or making a fool of them. I have seen him try to word it in a way that wouldn't be blatenly out in your face but the meaning is the same and he does it on the spot to celebrities while they are guesting on his couch. And some have fallen for it and not understand what he was doing to them.
So keep watching Jay leno love his skits and his monologues and i find he is much more creative and putting things together and trying new things. As wear david is just boring. Well, he sure ain't getting any funnier!

I'm thinking he just does it for ratings. i have always watched jay leno...i really am not a fan of david just for that reason...plus he stolle lenos headlines...jay leno all the way He does it for the over $12 MILLION he makes a year... with that kind of money, I guess you can put ANYONE down---with the exception (he found out) of Oprah and Trump....Wish I was famous, I'd LOVE to see what he would say about ME....and remember this.... no matter whether it's POSITIVE or NEGATIVE, anything Mr. Letterman DOES say about someone is FREE PUBLICITY and it's no worse then what Paris, Lindsey, Brit and all the little girls are doing to get more and more famous--or is that IMFAMOUS? that was hillarous with Pairs Hilton, cuz he was soo funny and she was getting so pissed. I usually don't like his interviews, but they are a lot funnier when he's meaner mabye...old men tend to get grumpy...
