Is Kelly Rowland a superstar?
We all know her bandmate Beyonce is a superstar, but isn't Kelly Rowland one yet? As for Michelle what does everyone think about her?
Answers: o.k i loved these guys since i was 7years old..... and this was at a time when i thought i was a spicegirl! anyway kelly is very beautiful model like actually so its definetly not her looks holding her back from the huge success of beyonce. her voice also equally beautiful not as "strong" as beyonce's but definetly has a beautiful tone. kinda like brandy's voice. however i don't think the media are going to allow kelly to become a superstar simply because it works better for them to portray her as the poor kid in beyonce's shadow. in saying that i do believe kelly will have success as she does have genuine talent. Michelle williams also similar to kelly but unfortunetly she has it a little rougher (unfairly so). coming into a group that was already established michelle really was under the pressure and the media encouraged this. now when it was time for michelle's release of her solo album (which personally i love) at the time everybody was hyped over nelly and kelly's song dilemna and beyonce was doing austin powers so that was added pressure. however she performed and her album went to number on the gospel charts. but becauseit was gospel as apposed to mainstream that hindered the success it could of had in terms of pop charts. similar happened with her softmore album but that slightly underperformed in terms of record sales. now unless michelle gets a great song song she could have success again because her voice is so refreshing but in terms superstardom i doubt it. Now beyonce she's basically taken over music since 2003. i've posted many questions about dc and beyonce and the general response is that beyonce is overexposed as she is on every magazine cover, every commercial, every internet blog or video sharing site, every film and every record store. (this is not meant literally) So she also may need to give people a bit of time to miss her and then come back with a bang. but i say by the time i am married and have kids (i'm 17) i believe beyonce will be talked about in the same way that my mom talks about tina turner and other greats. Oh she's someone in Beyonces band is she? And who's michelle? Never heard of him/her, so I doubt it Kelly might be a superstar one day, especially with the popularity of her new song. But I haven't heard anything about Michelle in ages, I doubt she'll be anything anytime soon. In my opinion Kelly has a better voice than Beyonce, so I wish she'd get more recognition than she has right now. As for Michelle, her voice always grated on me, so I'm just fine with the idea of never hearing it again. Kelly Rowland cannont sing worth anythin in my opinion. No she is not a superstar. Michele was just a beard no she is a has been and should give up on music. not really.but i always thought she was better than beyonce tbh.beyonce is only famous because of that part in Goldmember and because she's married (or whatever) to Jay-Z.. :/ I think Kelly could have been big after destiny's child but obviously Beyonce hogged all the limelight(just like when they were all in the band)
and Michelle? she ain't gonna get nowhere because no-ones really interested in her. kelly rowland is better looking and has real talent unlike beyonce in my opinon
but she could still pack out concerts so who cares

She starrred in her own broadway musical, Aida
shes currently on the touring version of the color Purple, which she makes roughly 3k a week for a year and a half.
Also, she currently working on her first R&b album, which has productions of Mario Winans, Byran Micheal Cox and Solonge Knowels.
Kelly Rowland needs to learn how to market. Her album didnt do so well because she was not at the right places at the right time. Other than that, she's a superstar.
