Anyone else find this strange?!
Question: Michael Jackson was born BLACK & some SKIN CONDITION turned him WHITE.
OK, that isn't the strange part, in 1991, he decided to release a song called BLACK OR WHITE.
In 1993 on The Oprah Winfrey Show he refered to himself as being BLACK.
Sorry, I just haven't been able to grasp this thing for years. Was he just sick of being BLACK & changed himself through lots of plastic surgery? (Anyone else would be questioned for racism.)
Or, is he telling the truth, being the ONLY human being I have ever heard of having such a condition?
I personally think he is just one strange, messed up indevidual, who ruined a great music career.

He had a lot of plastic surgery, no idea why really, and I think that's what caused his skin condition and made him the freak he is today (and that's just on the outside).
I don't know how he could call himself black - when a man has the op and becomes a woman he doesn't describe himself as a man does he?
Define prerequisites to be called black - I bet dark skin tone comes into it.

Ya he ruined his career through making neverland and melesting kids and what turned him white was losing all the pigma in his skin bcus of all the plastic surgerys
There is a skin condition that can turn black skin patchy white, sorry dont know what its called, years and years ago I went round with a guy who had it, but as it happening to the extent of Michael Jackson that I couldn't say whether its a skin condition or surgery!!!
I agree with you, I've never been able to work him out!!! There is a skin condition that can occur but it tends to be in patches not the entire body!!!
When I first saw him way back......I thought he was such a cutie he had a cute face and continued to look good until he started to have surgery...silly boy....fame and fortune turned him from good...to bad....and now to ugly... Shame init?
ive often wondered about this myself, dunno the answer but i recon its impossible for your skin to completely change colour becasue of a mysterious condition, right on how come nobody else has ever had this
i recon hes somehow bleeched it, black people used to do this a lot untill it got banned, can still but skin lightening creams online tho i believe
he is defo strange i personally have never liked him or his music.....but each to their own and all that.

There is a condition that turns african american's skin white. Sometimes it only turns patches and sometimes it turns all of the skin white. A lot of people use make up to cover up the patches of white skin but afterwhile, it becames too hard to cover up so much. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the disease that causes this.
Michael Jackson had enough money to peal the rest of his skin so that he would not have black blotches and white blotches on him. He just had it pealed to the color he was changing.
Yep, that is definitely very strange. Since he did it to himself voluntarily, I wonder if he has some sort of mental illness...

MJ thinks he is Peter Pan. I was watchin a documentry and on the wall in his room he had a massive painting of Peter pan and him in front of it u could see his surgry reflects Mr Pan.
One of my friends has the skin condition (don't ask me what it's called) but as said before it is in patches.
I was one of the lucky people who has seem MJ Live - what a performer. Everyone goes on about him molesting kids etc - what about the parents who let their kids stay with a grown man, a famous millionaire - mmmm me thinks I'll get a nice little earner
I think his plastic surgeon(s) should be sued. I was a total Michael Jackson fan. Love his music. But how can you look at him now, without cringing. I feel sorry for him to be honest. He's lost out on so much. And even the amount of money HE has, he'll never get it back.
p.s. I totally agree with mrsfidge. What kind of parent would leave their kids with someone, no matter who they are, if there was the slightest possibility of him molesting them. AND then be bought off (Jordy Chandler's parents)
The condition is called vitiligo and it's genetic. But it doesn't turn your entire body white, just patches of it. I didn't notice any of the other Jackson family having it, have you? And LaToya obviously has the same cosmetic surgeon as Michael... have you seen HER nose? sheesh! what is with those people??? How can they even think that what they look like defines beauty in any way? I think Michael Jackson looks best when he did "Thriller." Check out the video for that song. Now he doesn't even look human. Just monsterous. I suppose that's fitting isn't it? He's been acting monsterous for a long time now...
I think it's the pigments in his skin that has turned him white. He gives me the creeps anyway!!!!

Yh he's naturally black...rumours say he didn't want to be anything like his black father so he decided to have plastic suregery to turn him white. Must really hate his father soooo much that he runined his loooks. Yh it has had a great affect on his career. But apart from all that i think he's a loving guy.
He claims that he has the skin disorder vitiligo which causes white patches of skin due to the lack of pigmentation. However, I have always found Michael Jackson to be rather strange. Another "Lion Lady" if you will. I think he used the skin disorder as an excuse to hide his addiction to plastic surgery. Of course I could be wrong.
Yeah i dont believe it at all, he totally done it to himself 100% . . itd be hard enuf to believe if it was just his skin pigment that changed but he totaly changed his identity and features in his face . .
No I don't find it strange that he has Vitiligo, There are plenty of photos where you can see the patches of light skin on him!
