Answers: Can anyone please explain to me the point of Britney's new video? Basically she is not really dancing but rubbing up on a pole and the song is really a repeative dance number (I do admit I kind of like the beat). Do you think Britney is gone off the deep end for good or do you think she can come back strong? As a big Britney fan, I hated the video. I think the single is a good song to dance along to, but I think she'd be better off doing music that combines her first album and third. All this "breathy" music makes her sound so cheap. I digress, onto the video! Ok, I hated it for a number of reasons. For one, it gives the haters the admittion of guilt that they've been waiting for all along the "I'm not talented and I'm just an overrated and overpaid stripper who slithers across the stage". It's not the fact that the new video has a "stripper" theme that bothers me, but the fact that she just sloppily twirls around with close-ups for 3 and half minutes". This is supposed to be her "comeback" video? It's just embarrassing. And what's the "blonde Britney" supposed to mean? And why does she have only about 15 seconds of screen time? I don't get it. With her highly panned VMA performance she's putting out videos like this? And to top it off her album is to be released in a month. Shouldn't she be promoting it already? The only performance she's given so far is the VMA's and that was a disaster. I don't think her new album is going to do so well. And to be honest I don't think I want to buy it. I bought every one of her albums opening day (including her remix and greatest hits album). But this one I could seriously do without. I think I can hold off until Christmas to get it. Britney, get back to your roots. It would be nice to actually see you perform without lipsynching, I know you can sing, so cut the crap already! If she started actually singing from now on, and really shocked people, and is over her personal demons, she can really emerge as an artist and people will be blown away. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. Well I hope not but I dunno... nope but i still LOVE her pretty much Don't get me wrong, I love Britney (not as much as Chris Crocker does but still, lol) but I highly doubt she's going to be back on top like she once was.

The only chance she stands of getting her career back to the way it was, is if she sorts out her personal life. If she does that, then the tabloids will stop printing sh*t about her and with out all the drama, she'll be able to focus more on her music.

The video was just plain horrible. Especially the quality of the video it looked cheap. The video was directed by a first time video director whom Britney hand picked so that may explain a lot! the video is pointless. she just wanted to show the world her but..(omg girl get some shorts that go OVER your but)...but yeah. she could get he act together, but i don't know...everything people say - seams to be negative about her. she was probally running about of ideas..and thought hey strippin now thats original! the video is not really the official video. it's just a demo video... that's all HAVE U SEEN THE UNRATED VERSION
