Answers: I still want to have my say! I was just in the process of giving the 10 points to 'Mum', when the question was deleted!

The question said MJ would be appearing on the December 1st show of the X-Factor as a mentor to some of the finalists, & asked people what they thought of it. If it's true, I think it's great. It's a shame that a few people felt the need to be hostile with their answers.

I had stopped listening to MJ basically because of such horrible press over the years. I can not believe all the stuff that has written about him. Hopefully the press will call a truce & we can enjoy MJ music again.

Although there are many, many talented singers (song writers too) out there; for me I have not come across anyone who is as multi talented as MJ. It's a shame that 'we' feel the need to build someone up, ridicule them & them destroy them.

Why don't we put all the nonsense to one side, & just enjoy the Michael Jackson music again? I said this to your other question i think, but that was a rumor started by a tabloid, it's not true. As for the other part of your question, yes I think people should first of all, stop being so ignorant about the media and realize that they don't always tell the truth, with that being said, I think people should appriciate Michael Jackson for the positive things that he has done for the world. He has created the most amazing music of all time, he has given so much to less fortunate people, and he has shown so much compasion to others. People need to realize that the stories you hear about him, are not always true, it's just the media trying to make a quick easy buck because Michael jackson is so accessible to them.

ADDED: Yes I agree - justice would be better - however, a multi million dollar payout to a relatively poor family buys a lot of forgetfulness I never stopped listening to his music because of bad press. His real fans and friends have stood by him. jamand I'll say this again as I have on previous MJ questions, would you take millions from him if your child had really been abused???? No course not, you would want justice not cash....unless you are a gold digger. I totally agree, I don't think Michael has done anything wrong I just think he has been very nieave and he should be left alone to do what he does best produce music.

I have to say though that Prince is as multi taleneted if not more so. I saw his video for "Beat It" a few minutes ago on VH1 Classic Videos. That sure brought back some memories. My kids enjoyed the song too and they got to see who Michael Jackson is. (They had heard of him, but didn't know who he was.) They were like, "so that's Michael Jackson". LOL. I remember, when I was in 3rd grade, MJ was the most popular singer ever. Michael's spokeswoman has denied that he is going to be on X-Factor. I have never stopped listening to MJ's music and I have never believed the lies the press report!

As for the bit about him being on X-Factor, I don't know, either, it's just gossip, atm. We'll just have to wait.

I agree that we should now put all the nonesense about MJ aside, now, and appreciate the good he's done.
