-I don't know why both. depends on the song. some of their songs stink and others are good. soo yeah. but i do think avril needs to start wearing her make-up different, her eyeliner looks really bad. :[ Kelly Clarkson. She has a better singing voice and I can relate alittle more to her songs. Neither. Avril has the runs on the board and paid her dues, Kelly is still to earn hers simple as that..? Not sure why but avril lavigne. avril, shes rocking Anti- couldn't have said it better. (It was what I was about to say. lol) She beat me too it! Kelly Clarkson has a great voice, sings songs relevant to her age - not trying to be a little punk. Avril can sing, but doesn't release any good songs anymore?? kelly Kelly Clarkson. She sounds great thats why that makes a tricky question, am a huge fan of both of them. ill say Avril :)
