Answers: How does one get famous and play in movies?What can you do to become a "star"? I guess it all depends what type of reputation you want to have in Hollywood. If you want to have one similar to A-listers like Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, etc. Then you go to college, major in drama, minor in something a little more practical. Move to L.A. or N.Y. and start going out on auditions. Then take anything that is offered to you even if it is just a walk on on a soap opera.
If the rep you want that is similar to Anna Nicole, Pam Anderson etc. then you try to get into Playboy or Hustler and work your way up...on your back. Do some soft porn movies, date some aging actor and do whatever B movie comes your way...go to all movie premier's etc. and make sure you get into a couple of the gossip rags. you can make a portfolio and go around the country goin to casting calls.
