it's usually charisma and a presence they bring with them when they enter a room that commands peoples attention. if you want to get it work on your confidence, posture and your craft most importantly cause whats the point of getting the attention if you can't do the job...
I'm not sure it can be easily defined. It's a visceral reaction that an audience has that makes them want to watch the actor or celebrity whether they even like that person or not.
