Why is Ellen DeGeneres crying?!

Question: Ellen DeGeneres was on a news clip balling on set. What's making her lose it, in public, today?

Shows you were the world is headed. Millions of babies die every year at the hands of an Abortionist and this "lady" is setting on National TV crying over a dog.
Why does Preacher wife call Ellen "lady" in quotes. Is she questioning whether Ellen is a woman? Or is this a nudge...nudge..pissy commentary on Ellen's lifestyle? Report It

  • She adopted a puppy but it didn't get along with her two cats so she gave it away to a sweet family with some kids. The adoption agency said it violated the contract she signed and took the dog back from the family she had given it to.
Hey my middle name is Ellen!
Maybe she just haves too much in her mind.
She gave someone a dog that she shouldnt have. The dog rescue came and took it from the new family she gave it to. She was crying for them to give it back to the family.
She adopted a dog from an organization and when the dog wouldn't get along with her cats (after much training and patience) she gave the dog to her hairstylist---when the organization found out they went to the hairstylist and took it away from the loving family

ellen didn't read the fine print
has to do with her dog... she got a dog from charity or something and then the dog wasnt getting along with her cat so she gave the dog away to her friend cuz her friends kid wanted a dog... then the charity found out and took the dog back..... something like that......
She adopted a dog from a rescue group. She signed a contract saying if she couldn't keep the dog she'd send it back to the rescue group. She gave the dog away. The rescue group went to the new owner's house to reclaim the dog.

Ellen is in idiot who obviously can't read and wanted to take the whole thing public and make that rescue group look bad. What she's done is made ALL rescue groups look bad. Not every rescue group reacts the way this one did.
It's about a dog she rescued, then gave away:

They stole her Dogs, Her show will be on at 3PM CST, where I live so I'll see what all the Fuss is About for Myself.
    She's being a drama queen.
Oh so many snarky comments I could make...
But, no, I shall take the high road.

She adopted a dog and when it didn't get along with her cats, she gave it away. When the "adoption agency" called to check on the dog and found she had violated the contract by giving it away, they took the dog back. The contract states that she cannot give (or sell) the dog to anyone, she would have to give it back if she didn't want it.

Fair? Maybe, maybe not. The agency is trying to protect the animal by making sure it doesn't go to an unapproved home. What if the new family decided they didn't want it?
    payback is a *****
well, I just want to know why the shelter gives a damn where the dog is as long as it has a good home...

There are THOUSANDS of animals who need a home. Shouldn't the shelter be focusing on THEM instead?
She adopted a puppy and then it ended up being too energetic for her, so she gave it to her hairdresser's family. Then when the agency she adopted it from found out, they said she signed a paper saying that if she couldn't take care of the dog, she'd give it back to the agency. Apparently Ellen wasn't aware of this, and that agency took the puppy away from the family. So she was crying a plea to the adoption agency to give the puppy back to that family.
It's about a puppy that she adopted that was taken away from her after she gave it away, which is against the agency's agreement. Very long article here http://www.gossipfever.com/29634-ellen-d...
Good question. The news reports say that she was apparently crying because the animal rescue group took away a dog from a loving family. It is a heartrending picture she paints. Two children heartbroken over losing a homeless dog they had grown attached to.

Putting the story of the two children aside for the moment, here's what happened
    1) ellen adopts puppy from rescue organization
    2) puppy can't get along ellen's cats
    3) ellen chooses cats over puppy and give puppy away
    4) rescue organization takes back puppy because Elle violated contract.
    5) Apparently Ellen can't persuade the group to leave the puppy with the new adoptive family.
    6) Ellen goes live on TV and makes the matter public while weeping.

So what we see here is a case of a popular TV personality unfairly making use of her status to coerce an organization of good standing to do what she wants because she thinks it is right. Not only does she try to force the issue by making an emotional appeal on TV, she also insults and put the organization in a bad light by saying that it is not a home and not someone's family. A very low blow since the animal rescue organization objective is to place the rescued animals in homes and famiies. The clause that Ellen violated has a very good reason, it is a safeguard against people who are not serious enough in their intentions to adopt an animal. Apparently Ellen wasn't but yes, she thinks she's good enough to judge whether somebody else is.
    Hey Michael..
I'm too late to answer your question, so many great people bet me too it...

But I hope you don't mind me writing this::::::

Hey Crisco... what the hell is wrong with you dude!
Why on earth would you say this:
" unfairly making use of her status to coerce an organization of good standing to do what she wants because she thinks it is right."

That is NOT what is happening here ok!!!

it is TOTALLY WRONG of that place to remove that SWEET PUPPY from a GOOD LOVING HOME and putting it back into a cage where IT HAS BUSINESS being!!!!

I PRAY to God that everyone on here and everyone watching this show (it's on right now) and everyone in that audiance calls the shelter and demand that they give that sweet Puppy back to its loving home... because that is where it belongs!!!!!

    Thanks Michael...
The questions have been answered here but I would like to add my opinion.
The Humane Society is doing their job. They have a list of
prerequisites to adopting a pet. If this family would like to keep the pet they need to file adoption papers and pay the fee.
I am not a member of any animal group, but even I know there are conditions to adopting animals from shelters, which would include knowing who has the animal. Otherwise, why bother with a contract? Just another case of a celebrity expecting special tratment when it comes to following rules. I know one of the first things they ask is about children who reside in the home. Maybe this was an animal they wished to be placed with adults. Just because the dog was seeming to bond does not mean there has not been an incident in the past. If the shelter deems the new home to be acceptable, then they should be able to adopt the dog, but not because of a celeb whining.
