Why are so many people becoming Celebrities off of youtube?!
Question: I think it's weird. Now people don't even need Hollywood, Sports, or Politics to become famous. People are using youtube as a way to get known and myspace as a way for people to learn more about them and contacting them.
For example, Marie Digby. She was first famous from youtube. Then Disney found her and signed her. She didn't even need Disney. lol! I would have boughten music from her even though it was live. She's that good.

youtube is meant for that purpose...so new fresh talent can be discovered...and its extremely popular so the more people see you the better chance you have of being discovered...i honestly think those people that have so far been found from youtube didn't think anyone would grant them recognition, they just wanted their songs/rants./raves to be heard...which is great, if that's the way to celebs and fame then i think its great ordinary people can have a chance of that experience.
people like their stuff but I think she may need a record deal.
Because they are lucky I guess

because so many people are on it
Because on Youtube you can find some real gems. These people may not even be looking specifically for fame and stardom, but just because they dont go to showbusiness the traditional way, doesnt mean they havent got talent.

That's just it. If you have the 'it factor' you don't need to waste money and time going Hollywood etc. Fame and fortune finds and follows you!
