I know! Whatever happened to 'I'm a Mitchell' or whatever the stupid phrase was. I don't know which attitude is more annoying; 'I'm hard as nails me!', or 'I'm only a little pensioner don't hurt me!'. Soaps are just getting more and more ridiculous.

This is part of the reason I stopped watching soaps.
They try to be topical I think. But all they do is stretch the storylines soo far it becomes ridiculous. I agree where have the Beales gone and don't the Walford police investigate shootings??
happens in real life pubs go under because of bad book keeping .fairly accurate story line.
