Ive never talked about this but my mum went the same way she is, took drugs and now my mum is ill mentally and is still in denial that she's ill after ten years so i can relate to her kids but i also feel for her a bit as it's happened to someone so close to me.It really is sad to see someone go through it in the public eye and in front of the whole world.
I have no opinion on her.
She's a train wreck that's gonna end up killing herself. She's already a druggie and a drunkie. She's a bad influence. She deserved to have her kids taken away from her!

she's freakin lost her mind. and she has become nasty! talk about being extremely unfit to be a mother, too... i absolutely hate it for those kids. does anyone ever notice little things too (in pictures and things), like how they're not even buckled in properly? it'll be nice when she starts to turn herself around for the better- for herself and her kids. who knows if that'll happen!?
part of me feels sorry for her, but then part of me feels that she brought it on herself! she definitely needs to get control of her life and settle down!

I used to feel bad for that girl. Then when she came out with Gimme More I was actually happy for her; I thought she was trying to make a comeback. But then at the VMAs? and with her children? W.O.W.

I think she's a very sick person. I also think the media needs to give it a rest on everything that's been going on in her crazy world. I'd much rather hear a good story on the evening news than that smut about her, but I guess she makes them money.

Not insane, not yet a psychopath
It's and unfortunate situation. There are many others just like Brittney, she just happens to be in the lime-light. It's hard to get any real help when the environment enables you. My experience has been that I had to lose everything before I decided to get help. I hope that's not the case for her or others just like her. She needs to go to a 3 month inpatient center that won't take her crap and pamper her. Easy to say tough to do.
I think that it is sad that she can still be placed on tv, on the radio, in magazines, and is able to continue with her career. It is as if the media is allowing her to celebrate her addictions, negative choices, and inability to parent. The use of one's celebrity is not to condone negative behaviors, but rather to recognize greatness and one's achievements (such to empower, as opposed to enslave oneself to drugs, alchohol, sexual misconduct, etc.)
I applaude her "friends" in boycotting her upcoming album.
However, as for the media, what are the messages that we are sending to the younger generations?
Is the message: It is ok to continue on negative paths, as long as you have enough money to pave your way.
In addition, I do believe that Britney needs to find herself. If continuing to display current behaviors is who she wants to be, then fine. I just do not want her to continue to be allowed to have an influence on others.

I think she's someone with mental issues who doesn't really understand how much her actions impact that of her children. I also think she's extremely stubborn and believe that anyone who doesn't agree with her is against her (i.e. her parents). She is someone who really needs to get some help.

I think she's got great talent, is a pop princess but has had to deal with too much too young in terms of press attention. She can't go anywhere without swarms of paps taking her photo. She was vulnerable to Federline taking advantage of her and now she's got herself into trouble. But I like her new single. The video is here and details of her latest album.

She is through a difficult time now, she can do better if she changes the way she dresses and stop using drugs, I like her and I feel sorry for her!
