George Burns did a great job of it, granfatherly, knowledgable, and with a great sense of humor He did such a good job of it, they cast him 3 times, in Oh God!, Oh God! Book II, and Oh God you devil! :) I do agree with Hatterette that Morgan Freeman did a great job in Bruce Almighty as well, though...same qualities.....
