Question: more multicultural? do u think if an asian actress tried out for a part of lets say, detective, and she was really good, would she get the part?

I beleive that the most variety appears to be black and white. And they may have mixtures in them of a hipanic or Asian but it doesn't usually show up in the entertainment world as often unless they are mixed.
More Latinas are getting more acting parts but compared to Blacks and Whites it's a very little number.
I can count Famous (i mean really famous) Asians on one hand.
Yeah it is getting more diverse but it still isn't as diverse as i would like it to be.

I think an Asian actress would have as good a chance as anyone it she fit the role they were looking to fill but "diverse"? If your talking about the culture it's more like "demented!!"
