i think HSM 1 and 2 is just too superficial and cheesy. I don't enjoy the acting nor the singing (especially not the lyrics). It seems like the writers and producers forgot what High School is really about. The least they can do is make the movies a little more interesting and real. And the songs they sing... We're All in This Together..? oookk. I can barely tell the sogs apart.. Yea.. we get it, we have fun when we work together.

It's a bit lame and I fail to see what the big hype is about. It's just a bunch of dolled up teens singing. I can think of better, more intelligent things to watch.
it doesn't matter how corny they are, their easy to sing-a-long to and kids love it, it sells big money, so who cares?
