If you read his book you will find a lot of his tactics, and morality is lacking. He smoked crack in the mid 1990's while he was Bounty Hunting. His murder conviction was in the late 70's. I had always figured he completely changed his life around after the conviction. Apparently he hasn't changed.
It's important to note that the murder victim was a black man.
Bounty hunting should be illegal period. Law enforcement should be going after the bad guys, not a civilian looking for a quick buck.
After hearing that coversation audio with his son...and how he can be "ruined" He sunk his own ship now. I never liked him anyway....so BYE BYE DOGGIE
racist, christian and maybe kinda crazy! but who cares...he is out there trying, and on most occasions, succeeding in taking scum bags off the street and putting them behind bars where they belong. even without a t.v. show i think he should keep bounty hunting and we should have more people out there doing it. seems like the police are having a problem lately with getting drug sellers and other low-lifes out of our communities!\

I've never gotten just how he got a show anyway...perhaps this will teach him to think before he speaks...personally I think he was just saying what he really thinks and didn't realize that it would have the backlash it did.
As for hoping he "sinks like a rock" no...I believe in Karma..what you want to happen to others will come back on you threefold..ever hear the saying be sure of what you wish for???
His job is a hard dirty thing that picks up where law enforcement fails...he has given the occupation a new twist and popularity.With his comments I would think that others will try to polish up the image of this job now. Not all people think alike..thank goodness...and bigotry is one of the worst things a person can do
Dog Chapman is one of the greatest men protecting the innocent out there. I am a big fan of his show. It is clear that he goes beyond punishing the criminls and he trys to help them. I think he is a great role model. I would like to meet one person who has never said something they later regret to a family member in a private conversation.
I just listened to the tape...and it's just sad for him to say those things... He is very ignorant, and has a horrible mullet!
