I think they are looking into his using the N word....don't think it has been cancelled completely yet. Hopefully they won't, I like that show.

He was convicted in the murder of a black man in Texas, back in the late 1970's. He certainly should be more sensitive to black people after this conviction.
He is a liar. He portrays himself as someone who has changed his life, and is a christian. But when I read his book he admitted to going on a 6 month crack cocaine binge back in the mid 1990's, and while he was a Bounty Hunter. This isn't the sign's of a changed man.
it wasnt cancelled it has been temporarily suspended by a&e but the season had ended anyway by the time next season comes around itll be back on.

As an African American female I was shocked and surprised by his comments. I watch his show all the time! I cried when I watched the episode when he was married to Beth & his daughter died.
Ironically the minister that married him is African American. His 15 minutes of fame is over because A&E network will distance themselves from him.
Personally he is human like everyone else, he needs some healing like the healing he gives to the criminals he catches.
I think this is different than the Imus story because Imus just said whatever came out of his mouth, unlike Dog in his private phone conversation with his son was contradicting himself with every word. This Old Dog needs to be put out to pasture. Trust me his show and career is OVER!
Instead of running to his minister for guidance after the media storm hit, he should have went to him earlier to discuss this issue about his son and girlfriend, to work out his personal feelings.
