Brian Regan-he is SO funny, and he doesn't have to use crude or vulgar humor to make his audience laugh. He uses everyday situations and shows how funny they actually are.
A very mainstream answer -- currently, I enjoy flicks with Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller -- the triad of modern comedy.
For the long term, I like Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, Bill Cosby and the like.
