Like so many others over the years,is "Dog" Chapman sorry he said what!

Question: or is he sorry because it got so much attention? So many, didn't matter what race they were, didn't even think about apologizing until it created an uproar.

I first heard the short version and just now got to hear the long version of this phone conversation between Tucker and Mr. Chapman.
I hear a Father disciplining a son whose girlfriend was making threats and stirring up problems between the family members.
Every family has at one time or another gotten on to their children who were hanging around people who were a bad influence.
It is extremely obvious Mr. Chapman was very correct in his assessment of the whole situation concerning his son Tucker and his girlfriend.
While Mr. Chapman is talking to his son the very son whose is recording this conversation is lying to his Dad on this tape about his girlfriends intentions.
THEY WERE NOT JUST HIS GIRLFRIENDS INTENTIONS ~ OBVIOUSLY!!!

Shame on A&E, Black leaders for getting involved and promotion a rebellious son.

He will be when Bubba catches him!!

I doubt he's sorry for it. I can be pretty sure that he's pretty sorry that his show got pulled from the air though.

Well yeah, he's sorry the conversation was leaked out, and he probably wishes he could take it back. That doesn't change his feelings about blacks though.

no he is sorry he got caught, he didn't seem to care what he said to his son, he said it as if it was a normal word to say, and he said he doesn't use it in a bad way, its a bad word and should of never have been invented and no one should say it either

Yea, but there is a 1st amendment.

I think there are many people out there that have racist beliefs and/or make racist comments. I think that getting in trouble for it is what makes them regret it, not having the thoughts in the first place. I'll be honest in saying that I, too, have made a racist comment in the past, and until I got called out on it, I didn't feel as bad....
I hate to admit it, but I'm sure there are many people out there that feel that they are superior..It's not right, but society makes us believe that we have the right to feel superior. This whole incident has taught me to be more humble and not be so judgemental of others. I hope it teaches a lesson to everyone.

He's sorry he got caught. The simple fact that he stated on the tape about getting caught, he knew what he was doing and that it would jeopardize his career but he did it anyway knowing the consequences. He isn't sorry, just racist.

and apparently, his wife is racist too or else why would there be concern about her being taped.

I think he's sorry because it got so much negative attention. I really think that alot of people use racist words in private, even when they are not necessarily racist. It's kindof like another way of swearing. It really is bad that he used those words, but in his defense, it was a private phone conversation, and it should have been kept that way. I think it's not fair that his show has been removed from television. How many of us have used derrogatory terms when angry, and then regretted it later? No one is perfect, and he used those awful words in a private conversation- in anger. I have not heard the actual tape, but I understand he called his son's girlfriend the "N" word. Definately wrong, but he said it in anger. I don't know that that makes the man a racist.

The only thing he is sorry about is getting caught!!!!!!

who cares! that family must be in the encyclopedia under "T- for Trailer-park trash" His wife especially! God, I can't stand them!

Oh, did he apologize ALREADY?? Can't wait for that Larry King Live!!

He's sorry he got caught.
