He is old, I would guess about 70.

But I have not seen him on TV in such a long time, it makes his aging look more surprising!!!!

Because the man is in his late 60's now and refuses to get a face lift. Bravo to Mr. Redford for wanting to age gracefully.
Oh dear I really wish you had not asked this question. I have been a fan for (thinks carefully) a while! Just rushed into the bathroom for a good look. On the films the lighting and camera angles are carefully arranged to show him in the best possible way. Plus, as with women's pics in magazines there is air brushing. Robert Redford is now a little older. Wish I could air brush myself when I go out!

I've often wondered why actors and actresses look older than they are, and have come to the conclusion that it's years of make-up artists dragging the skin when applying make-up.
Also all the years of the skin being cloged up with the stuff.
Anyway, besides that, Robert Redford, the heart-throb of his day, is now in his senior years.
