I think she is a tragic figure. She was so young when her mother began to exploit her and was just basically this little ignorant trailer trash thing that wasn't prepared for success.

The only reason she's really still around is because of the papparazi. Same with Hilton, Lohan, etc. I don't blame her as much as them for keeping her in the spotlight.

She was doing fine until K-fed came along. He is making her look bad trying to get her kids so he get all shes got. Personally, I like Britney Spears (from what I know of her) a lot better than most of the people who previously answered your question (above me). It seems like some of them enjoy seeing other people (especially celebrities) fail at living up to some ambiguous "role model" standard. When people respond with such negativity to other people having a tough time it just shows that they are bitter and/or jealous/envious of her success, fame, etc. I'm sure that all of you are not perfect decision makers and if your every decision was amplified for the world to see most of you will not come out winners either. We are all human and we should be empathetic to another person's suffering (instead of calling that person a "trashy skank"). How could you call a little girl "trashy"? That just tells me about your system of values.
Britney Spears is not going to go away (no matter how much she would want to or not want to) because of "all the non drug using, hard working moms" like you who keep reading about her and discussing her online. You should focus on your life and your kids instead of talking about other people you don't really know anything about other than reading about them from the "sleazy" magazine articles that you (by the way) pay for.
