Dog the Bounty Hunter..Is he a racist or..?!

Question: I heard his statement to his son about his girlfriend(who is black) and dog said the N word a few time in a phone conversation with his son(who recorded the conversation). What was said was not nice at all! But, it was a conversation that many people have with friends, and family members everyday. Is it right to make this man out to be a BAD person? Or is he just saying things that he does not think of the consequences of what he is saying and how prejudice hurts people? What are your thoughts? Should he be forgiven by the A&E Network?

Hitler wrote something that changed the world for the worse. Words do have power. However, Dog was in the privacy of his own home and among friends and family. He as anyone in this country has (supposedly) the freedom of speech. His words have more power than most, due to his position. Therefore he must be mindful of his words and actions as they speak volumes even when it's not intended. I think Dog regrets having the impact that he has although he has so many positive accomplishments. With this power and influence comes a great responsibility. No single human can please everyone all the time. Nor should he try. He made a verbal mistake in the public eye. He isn't perfect. There was only one perfect person and He died for OUR mistakes. before He died, he also taught us to forgive. And to accept. That said, A&E has their own skin to save. I have a feeling that Dog will be asked to make some sort of apology and A&E will agree to pick the show back up again. Hell, the ratings will be amazing! I hope they cover the fact that Dog was in the company of family and if you can't speak freely before your own blood, who can you speak freely with? I only hope his son realizes his mistake and that the family can heal.

he said he isnt racist, based on Larry King, he just used the word to grab his son's attention. He never intended to insult his girlfreind, he used the n-word to grab his son's mind and tell him to be careful about her. I'd forgive him, amd so should A&E. the voice call was PRIVATE, the son's a jackass for leaking it on the web.

why is it NOT ok for Dog to say the n-word, when rappers and black guys call each other that as a greeting? i would totally forgive Dog. the black ppl who uses this word and thinks is positive are ppl i would never forgive.

its terrible what he did i absoutley hate that word .. should he be forgiven maybe if he is truly sincere but the public will never forgive him but his son putting that out there doesnt say much about him either!!

who is he and is it true he has a show??????

i think there make to big of a deal

he's annoying

EVERYONE is PREJUDICED to some extent..I don't care who you are or where you come from....it is a matter of thinking carefully before you speak..we all don't necessarily mean the "bad" things that come out..it just happens..NOW..if "dog" really meant the things he said...then yes he is prejudiced..I have Black..friends as well as other ethnicity's....we all love and respect each other....it is just a matter of "talk" if you will: on how we have "loose lips" and those loose lips as such are hurtful and harming and really not necessarily the way we really think and feel..and we should be ashamed for them.
