I think so, my daughter just turned 10 and has been watching it since it came on. There's no too grown up scenes. A lot of it is about family and friends and lessons she learns. I think it's appropriate for a 6 year old. Fair warning...get ready to buy her Cd's!!!!!

It's appropriate in my opinion. There may be some parts where your 6-year-old might get some ideas, but the ideas aren't bad at all. It's ok. =]
Well... i know a lot of 6 year olds who watch it... but wheter it's appropriate or not depends on the parent. It is about a teenage girls that lives a secret life as a pop star; only a few of her friends know that. Bascally she deals with friend issues, school issues, and boy issues ( but nothing really inapropriate- but it is kind of pathetic). Check www.disneychannel.com and you can watch an episode.

It's OK. Just try to monitor in case a subject matter comes up that may not necessarily be OK for 6 year olds.
Yeah it is. Well some might be inappropiate for the six year old cause sometimes in a couple episodes they talk about bras but thats not to bad in general but maybe for a 6 year old i guess.
i'd say it is appropriate for a 6 year old. There are only sometimes that they are talking about kissing and relationships. If you think it is ok for a 6 year old to look at that then it is fine.

Pretty much... they've had her bra on the show like 3 times which is actually pretty pointless if you ask me... I don't understand why they actually put the bras on the show but oh well... the show is pretty decent for younger people
