1) kareena feel in luv with saif during the shoots of omkara (he is like 10 -11 yrs older to her)
2) she began to suspect that shahid was having an affair with amrita rao......when she came to visit him during the shoots of vivah.
3)kareena became tired and fed up of being shahid's girl friend and so she decided to break up...
by going thru these reasons u will realise that it was not shahid's fault at all becoz he is really innocent and it is all that stupid woman's fault .....she is going ash's way and is really gonna jinx saif's career as well.
