Why didn't Kathy Griffin get the same treatment as Isiah Wash and Dog the Bo!

Question: I mean they all said hateful things, and they are all definitely ignorant, but if they want treat Kathy's as free speech(which btw was on National Television, unlike Dog(who was on a PRIVATE conversation with his deceitful son), then Isaiah and Dog should also be treated as free speech. Trust me I don't agree with anything those idiots said but it seems to me, free speech is free speech, so if Jesus bashing is ok(mind you he is sinless), then black bashing and gay bashing should also be. Why is there a difference?

No one cares about her. What comes out of her mouth is not important enough to warrant any reaction.... No one is listening anyway.

I think it all has to do with what is considered what is politically correct.
Black and gay bashing are considered very un-PC to do,
but bashing most religons is not considered un-PC, therefore the media is fine with Kathy Griffin saying something about religon. Thats just my opinion.

I believe free speech should be really that - free speech. If you don't like another race and want to call them a name, you should be allowed to say it. That's why they call it free speech. The only exception would be if someone blatantly threatened another person with death or bodily harm. All this being politically correct stuff is really getting out of hand. We all don't like everybody, so it's just our opinions. People shouldn't be losing their jobs over their opinions about another person's race. If you don't like what somebody is saying, than turn the radio station to another one.

In my opinion, what Kathy said wasn't Jesus bashing or anything hateful - all she said was He didn't have anything to do with her winning the award.

I'm not sure. For everyone wanting freedom of speech, we sure aren't aloud to say much anymore. Everything we say offends someone, and frankly, I'm tired of it. We want to be able to say what we want, but then someone gets offended, and all of a sudden we have a new law that prohibits us from what ever we said that was offensive. I agree that what they said was stupid, and they should have used better judgment, and especially since they are in the position that they are in. I don't know, to me, there is no difference, and to everyone else, there should be no difference. But, again, we are in a pretty messed up society right now. I think that a lot of it has to do with respect. Everyone wants it, but some refuse to give it. I think that if everyone was more respectful towards others.

Because that's what Kathy is known for being Controversial and outspoken, That's why she's famous and that's how she earns a living by saying outrageous things, Dog and Isiah are not famous because of those reasons therefore it was a shock to the public to hear those things, I guess people expect that from Kathy, Hell I love her~
