McFLY popularity in the UK???!
Question: Okay I live in the US & I like Mcfly, not my favorite or whatever, but I was just wondering, when I try to track music or information on them, they appear to be a HUGE deal in the UK. Is this true or is it just like a 14 year old girl thing?
By the way this isnt an opinion on mcfly question people can love or hate them i take no offense I just want to know if their fame is a bit built up and fake or in fact real...?

They are really big in the UK.. I mean really. They've been around since 2004 when their debut album - Room on the Third Floor - became an instant number one and they beat The Beatles with the Guinness Record of being the youngest band to ever have a debut number 1 album.. Fantastic.. It all started with that album, specifically with the song Five Colors in Her Hair, which they would later use in the movie Just My Luck with Lindsay Lohan... Things really skyrocketed after the Guinness Record and they had 7 number one singles, and albums that just stayed on the top ten charts.. So far, they have 3 albums, the fourth one is to be released on Spring next year... They just had a single out recently, which made it to the top ten again, and a greatest hits album that came out two weeks ago.. I happen to live in California, mind you and I ordered all of their albums and the greatest hits from Amazon.co.uk.. They don't have them here in the states...
