Celine was on tv today ....could someone tell me her appeal?!

I don't get the direction that she is taking lately. I think she was better in the 90s when she did the song for TItanic. I saw her on the Today show this morning and she seems like she is trying to change her image or compete with younger artists. I think her tour in Las Vegas had a bad effect on her. Her voice didn't sound too good either. It was like she was trying too hard.
i know she was on ellen to day and yesterday she was on oprah....
I've heard her say that she is the greatest singer in the world...whatever!
I think it's all about how much money she has and who she married, that gives her the feeling like she is untouchable.
I can't stand looking at her or hearing her anymore...just switch the channel, you don't want her ratings to go any higher.

I don't ever get riled up over celebs, but Celine Dyin' is now my exception...although I can only name two of her songs off the top of my head, her recent interviews will remain with me probably forever (shudder). Talk about damaging ones image...
