Not a "celebrity mom" per se, but historically I'd say the mother of burlesque queen Gypsy Rose Lee was the worst in terms of stage mothers....and she did it simply because she had to be "noticed."!
Not only did Rose Thompson Hovick force her kids to be in vaudeville because she was a frustrated actress, she kept them out of school, notoriously underfed, and after years of neglecting Louise, made her go into stripping at the tender age of 16! If she were alive today and doing that the CPS would have taken her kids away.
