How many of you loved Nirvana? What did you like best about them?!
Question: Nirvana was awesome. They were gritty sounding with raw lyrics. They were different from everything that was out at the time, even other grunge.

kurt cobain and dave grohl, two of my favorite musicians of all time!
I hate to be a munch- but I really never did like Nirvana that much.
From the point of view of a musician, their music was so incredibly dull and unimaginative.
I don't understand why they got so popular!

I feel a little bit badly about what I wrote above. I am sorry if I offended anybody.
Obviously, Kurt Cobain and the other band members had something special about them. I don't mean this in a pejorative sense. They touched a great many lives through the art of music.
I also felt like I wasn't properly respecting the dead. I do feel that Kurt Cobain's premature demise was tragic. A lot of people loved him, and still do love him now.
I think Nirvana did change rock and roll and alternative music- perhaps for the better.
