I had the great pleasure of peronallly crossing the road from the Beef-Eater to Leicester square in London, arm in arm with the late & great Spike Milligan.
We had a traffic problem, so he said to me "Pretend you are blind, and just walk out with an imaginary white stick"
It worked a treat. The traffic all stopped at this apparition.
We then had a beer together, and a more charming man and "celeb" you could not wish to become "mates" with.
I am no celeb, just a bloke in a band really, but invited to Mr Milligan's funeral which attracted many a big name.
All as clever and as daft as a brush !
Same with Elizabeth and Phil, in that I admire the fine work they do, but also put their human foot in it now & then.
Without a real name, just watch the Paul O'Grady later this week, and I will give all Yahoo! fans a wave.
