It's just an expression like when she says "Feeling Hot Tamale" meaning feeling good or great or looking good or great;I saw an E special when her & her back-up singer Trey Lorenz were talking about one time she came out for a show & he said she looked Hot Tamale.
She uses that expression in the song "It's Like That" from the Emancipation of Mimi.
